Note: Make sure to carefully consult
the lists of eligible courses under
core and college requirements before making
important decisions. Courses
that satisfy Franklin College academic
requirements include
upper division, 3000/4000 level courses.
However, while they can be used
for Franklin College requirements, such
courses CANNOT be used for the
core. The Core Curriculum can only be
satisfied with 1000 or 2000 level
courses. For example, if a student takes
a religion course to satisfy Area
C of the core, it must be at the 1000
or 2000 level. However, if the
student takes a second religion course
to satisfy the college requirement
for TWO courses in fine art/philosophy/religion,
it can be at the 3000
level or higher.
